Hotel Bennington stands as a beacon of resilience, hospitality, and excellence. Officially incorporated on June 19, 2019, and commencing operations on November 30, 2019, the hotel was the brainchild of two visionary entrepreneurs: Barrister Elvis Udoka Okoro and his wife, Okoro Ifeyinwa Ruth. Barrister Elvis Udoka Okoro was a distinguished businessman, a seasoned banker, and a successful real estate investor whose passion for creating a premium hospitality experience led to the birth of Hotel Bennington. His wife, Okoro Ifeyinwa Ruth, is an accomplished businesswoman and a devoted mother of three. Her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to excellence have been pivotal in the hotel’s operations. Today, she leads the hotel as the Chief Executive Officer, ensuring the continued growth and success of the establishment.
Strategically located at 46 1st Federal Road, off Medical Store Road, Benin City, Edo State, Hotel Bennington was designed to be more than just a place to stay—it was envisioned as a sanctuary for comfort, luxury, and unmatched hospitality. The hotel quickly earned a reputation for providing excellent service, elegant accommodations, and an inviting atmosphere that made guests feel at home.
However, the journey has not been without challenges. The sudden and untimely passing of Barrister Elvis Udoka Okoro brought unforeseen difficulties to the business. The loss of the hotel’s visionary leader resulted in significant setbacks. Despite these hardships, Okoro Ifeyinwa Ruth remained unwavering in her determination to uphold the legacy and dream of her late husband. She has worked tirelessly to rebuild and strengthen the business, ensuring that Hotel Bennington not only survives but thrives.
Her resilience and leadership have breathed new life into the hotel, driving initiatives to improve service quality, expand facilities, and solidify the hotel’s reputation as a leader in the hospitality industry. The values instilled by Barrister Elvis Okoro continue to guide the team, fostering a culture of excellence, integrity, and warmth that guests and staff alike deeply appreciate. May his soul continue to rest in power with the Lord.
